Reel Prevention PSA Competition 2022

Drug Prevention Video Competition

Calling all high school students! Tell your peers about the dangers of drug misuse and encourage them to lead a health drug-free lifestyle. By creating this 30-second public service announcement (PSA) video, you could win a $1,000 grand prize scholarship! PSAs are short video messages run by broadcast stations. Other prizes include a 2nd place $500 scholarship, 3rd place $250 scholarship, 4th place autographed football from the Kansas City Chiefs football team, a celebratory announcement, giveaways, and additional prizes to be announced!
 

Reel Prevention PSA Competition 2022 is now closed. Please join us for the Celebratory Announcement held on Tuesday, November 15! Kindly RSVP here by Wednesday, November 9. Please note: Content may be for a more mature audience, therefore, the suggested age is 12 years and older.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Create and submit a 30-second PSA video encouraging your peers to stay drug-free and inspire them to lead a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. 

  • Student must be registered as an eligible high school student* at the time of entry and when prizes are awarded.

  • Student may work with one other student who is also eligible to participate, but only one person should submit their group's PSA.

  • Up to three non-eligible assistants/actors are allowed.

 

ENTRY DETAILS​

  • Student must register online.

  • The entry must be turned in by 11:59pm CT on Friday, October 28.

  • The entry must be uploaded to the Dropbox link that will be sent to the student’s email upon registration. 

  • Video must be filmed horizontally. Video may be in QuickTime/MOV, WMV, MPEG, or AVI format.
